Privacy policy

The processing of your personal data, which are collected when visiting our website, is carried out in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (DSG M-V).

To visit or browse this website no personal data need to be supplied. Where this website allows the input of personal or business information (such as name, e-mail or postal addresses etc.), the user in all cases provides such data voluntarily. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without the consent of the individual.

The use of all offered services is - as far as technically possible and reasonable - also allowed without specification of personal data or under specification of anonymised data or a pseudonym.

Log files

This website maintains a server log file used solely for technical administration. On each access to this website the following data automatically sent by the visitors' browser are temporarily stored:

  • IP address,
  • time of access,
  • retrieved page or content elements,
  • if provided, referrer URL (the previously visited site and page) and
  • user agent (browser and operating system used).

These data are stored for a maximum of fourteen days, they are not processed, used for tracking, combined with other datasets or disclosed to third parties, while appropriate evaluation may occur to protect this website against fraudulent activities.

uMap/OpenStreetMap

This website embeds maps provided by uMap (openstreetmap.[fr/de]), intended as an aid for planning your trip and the orientation around the conference venue.

uMap is an opensource service, allowing the creation of annotated maps based on OpenStreetMap layers. OpenStreetMap (OSM) is a community driven project, aiming to create free map data of the world. It is supported by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, a non-profit organisation registered in England and Wales.

To retrieve the map data on a page with embedded uMap objects, your browser connects to OSM and transmits your IP address during this process. Please see the privacy policy of OSM for further information:

E-mail contacts

The personal data submitted by you via e-mail will only be stored for the purpose of answering your request and will be deleted at the latest after the completion of the administrative process. Your request will be forwarded directly to the responsible employee within our department. Your data will not be shared with third parties.

Your rights

You have the right to revoke a previously granted permission for data processing at any time and without giving reasons at the responsible institution (see section "Contact" below) with effect for the future. Furthermore, you have the right to request free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing. In addition, you have the right to correct, block or delete your data.

Objection against advertising mails

The use of contact details published on this website (such as telephone or fax numbers and e-mail or postal addresses) for marketing purposes or sending of unsolicited spam messages is not permitted. In the case of violations of this ban, we expressly reserve the right to take legal action against the senders of such spam e-mails.
